Russian drones attack vehicles in Kharkiv region: two men killed, volunteer injured

Russian drones targeted two civilian vehicles in the Kharkiv region throughout the day, killing two men and injuring a female volunteer.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, according to Ukrinform.

“According to the investigation, on October 5 around 12:00, a Russian strike drone—reportedly a Molniya—hit a car traveling along a road in the Kupiansk district. A 37-year-old volunteer driving the vehicle was injured,” the statement said.

Later that day, around 14:00, an FPV drone struck another vehicle in the village of Kolodiazne, also in the Kupiansk district. Two men, aged 50 and 35, were killed.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv region, pre-trial investigations have been launched into the commission of war crimes.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, on October 4 around 11:40, Russian forces shelled the village of Husynka in the Kupiansk district, killing a 57-year-old woman.
