Falling missile and drone debris recorded in Ternopil region

Debris from a falling missile and several drones was recorded in the Ternopil region following a nighttime enemy attack. Minor roof damage was reported in the Chortkiv area.

According to Ukrinform, the Ternopil Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.

“Last night, Ukraine was once again under a combined Russian attack. Missile and drone debris was recorded in the Ternopil region,” the statement reads.

No casualties or major destruction have been reported. However, minor damage to a building’s roof was confirmed in the Chortkiv area.

Meanwhile, the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhii Tiurin, reported on Telegram that during the nighttime alert, Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed one Kalibr cruise missile over the region. Additionally, five cruise missiles and thirty drones were lost from radar tracking.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian air defense neutralized 478 aerial targets out of 549 launched by Russia since the evening of October 4. These included 439 drones of various types, one Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile, 32 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles, and six Kalibr cruise missiles.
