Attack on passenger train in Shostka: at least eight victims hospitalized
At least eight people were injured as a result of Russian drone strikes on trains in the Shostka community of the Sumy region.
According to Ukrinform, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Telegram.
According to the investigation, on October 4, at around 11:50 a.m., the Russians attacked a passenger train with a drone while it was waiting to depart at the Shostka railway station.
A few minutes later, while passengers were being evacuated, another train was hit by a drone.
As of 1:00 p.m., at least eight people were known to have been hospitalized.
Under the procedural guidance of the Shostka District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the commission of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The massive attack on the city continues, the Office of the Prosecutor General emphasized.
