Russia targets Kharkiv with missiles, bombs, casualties reported
The Russians attacked Kharkiv with ballistic missiles and guided aerial bombs, casualties are reported.
This was announced on Telegram by Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov, Ukrinform reports.
“Kharkiv is under a combined attack. According to preliminary information, strikes on the city’s Kyivskyi district were carried out with guided aerial bombs. In addition, launches of ballistic missiles targeting Kharkiv and nearby suburbs have been recorded,” the statement said.
Later, Terekhov reported preliminary information about two people injured as a result of a bomb strike on the Kyivskyi district.
It is noted that as a result of bomb strikes on the Saltivskyi and Kyivskyi districts, private houses and garages were destroyed, and fires broke out. A fire also erupted at one of the city’s markets.
At 3:58, Terekhov reported that the number of injured had risen to six.
