After the Russian strike on Dnipro, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that with each such strike, the Russians prove again and again that strong pressure is needed on them and that sanctions must become much more painful for the aggressor.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky wrote about this on Facebook.

"Right now in Dnipro, rescuers and all emergency and utility services are responding after a Russian drone strike on the city, a brazen attack in broad daylight, targeting civilian infrastructure. So far, more than 10 people have been reported injured," Zelensky stated.

He said that everyone is receiving the necessary medical care.

"With every such strike, Russians prove time and again that they must face strong pressure. Such strikes also demonstrate that the world’s sanctions on Russia must hit the aggressor much harder, and that all of us in Europe must build a reliable defense against Russian drones and missiles—so that no country stands alone against this threat. Joint action is essential. Only through united and strong action can these terrorists be defeated. Russia must be held accountable for its actions," Zelensky stressed.
