Russian shelling hits Kherson apartment block
Russian troops shelled the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, with one of the projectiles hitting the roof of a multi-story residential building.
According to Ukrinform, Yaroslav Shanko, Head of the Kherson City Military Administration, reported the attack via Telegram.
He stated that Russian occupiers continue to heavily bombard Kherson using various types of weaponry.
“In the morning, the enemy attacked the city’s Dniprovskyi district. One of the shells struck the roof of a residential building, piercing the ceiling of an apartment. The blast wave shattered windows in several nearby buildings,” Shanko said.
No injuries were reported. Municipal services are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. Social workers from the Kherson City Military Administration visited all apartments in the damaged buildings and provided necessary consultations.
The administration also reported that several educational institutions in the Dniprovskyi district came under enemy fire over the past day.
One school suffered the most damage, with nearly 100 windows shattered, nine interior doors destroyed, and approximately 400 square meters of roofing damaged.
As previously reported, five people were injured in the Kherson region over the past day due to Russian aggression.
