Kupiansk under control of AFU - General Staff
Kupiansk is currently under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was stated by Major Andriy Kovalov, spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in a comment to Ukrinform.
“In the north of the city, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are continuing search and strike operations against Russian occupiers,” Kovalov said.
According to him, active counter-sabotage measures are currently being carried out in the city of Kupiansk itself.
Entry into the city for civilians is restricted in order to effectively carry out the above-mentioned measures by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, since the beginning of the day, there have been 44 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops, with the invaders most actively attacking in the Pokrovsk direction, where 18 battles have been recorded.
