Ukrainian sappers defuse 500-kg Russian guided bomb in Zaporizhzhia region

Sappers of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) in Zaporizhzhia region have defused a 500-kilogram Russian guided aerial bomb.

According to Ukrinform, the SES reported this on Facebook.

The KAB-500 bomb was discovered on the territory of a private house after one of the shelling attacks. The munition had lodged itself more than five meters deep into the ground, which significantly complicated the work of the sappers.

For residents’ safety, police evacuated the occupants of the house and their neighbors.

SES sappers used special equipment to extract the bomb and transported it for disposal.
