Ukraine’s SOF take control of forest strip in Donetsk region

Soldiers of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SOF) carried out a successful raid on Russian positions in Donetsk region, taking control of a forest strip and seizing enemy equipment.

According to Ukrinform, the SOF reported this on Telegram.

“SOF operators were tasked to detect, advance, destroy, secure, and hand over enemy-held positions in a forest strip in Donetsk region,” the report said.

As a result, the forest strip is now under Ukrainian control.

The soldiers also captured 15 enemy trophies, including weapons, radios, phones, and documents.

As reported, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that Ukrainian defense forces are carrying out active counteroffensive actions and have achieved certain success.
