Four explosions rock Sumy: Strikes hit residential area and enterprises
Four explosions occurred in the city of Sumy today, causing damage to residential and industrial areas.
According to Ukrinform, the information was shared by Sumy Mayor Artem Kobzar.
“Today, four explosions were heard in the city. Preliminary reports indicate they were strikes by 'Italmas' drones (Russian loitering munitions also known as Izdelie-54, Geran-3, or 'lawnmower' drones – ed.),” Kobzar stated.
Two of the drones hit the premises of a private enterprise, while one struck a residential area, reportedly shattering 27 windows. Another impact occurred near a municipal facility operated by the Sumy City Council.
Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported so far. Emergency services are currently working at the scene.

Earlier, local media reported explosions in Sumy around midday.
Additionally, the Sumy Military Administration reported that a drone strike in the Zarichnyi district hit a non-residential building near a residential home. No injuries were reported, although one woman experienced an acute stress reaction.
