In Kyiv region, firefighters extinguished a fire covering 17,000 square meters after a Russian drone struck warehouse facilities at the logistics center of the Epicenter company.

According Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service (SES) reported this on Telegram.

“The blaze took more than 10 hours to put out. To understand the scale — it was like 2.5 football fields engulfed in flames. The work was complicated by the vast area, heavy smoke, and fully stocked warehouses. In addition, nearby buildings needed protection from the fire,” the statement said.

Around 400 firefighters, over 100 units of equipment, two helicopters, a fire train, and four firefighting robots were involved in the operation.

Rescue units from both Kyiv region and the capital participated, alongside voluntary firefighting teams who worked shoulder to shoulder with professionals.
