HUR special forces strike Russian Buk-M3 system in Zaporizhzhia region

Special forces from the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) struck a Russian 9K317M Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system in the Zaporizhzhia region.

This was reported by the HUR press service, according to Ukrinform.

On September 14, special forces from the Main Intelligence Directorate identified and carried out a successful strike on the Russian 9K317M Buk-M3 air defense system.

The high-value target was hit near the settlement of Oleksandrivka, located in temporarily occupied territory within the Zaporizhzhia region.

The estimated cost of the Russian Buk-M3 system ranges from $40 to $50 million.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, units from the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) and Special Operations Forces carried out a series of highly complex missions aimed at disrupting railway connections along the Oryol–Kursk and Saint Petersburg–Pskov routes.
