Ukrainian drones strike chemical plant in Russia’s Perm region – source

Strike drones operated by Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) targeted a chemical industry facility in Russia’s Perm Krai that is considered critical to the Russian military-industrial complex.

According to sources within HUR, preliminary information indicates that equipment used for urea production was damaged in the attack.

The targeted enterprise, PJSC Metafrax Chemicals, produces key components used in the manufacture of explosives.

The facility is located approximately 1,600 kilometers from Ukraine’s border.

The operation was carried out by the Unmanned Systems Forces of HUR’s Department of Active Operations.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, units from the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) and Special Operations Forces carried out a series of highly complex missions aimed at disrupting railway connections along the Oryol–Kursk and Saint Petersburg–Pskov routes.
