Ambulance hit by shelling in Kivsharivka, Kharkiv region, two medics injured
In the settlement of Kivsharivka, Kupiansk district, two medics were injured as a result of Russian shelling while they were on their way to a call.
This was reported on Facebook by Kharkiv Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, according to Ukrinform.
“This morning did not begin with good news… At 09:40 in Kivsharivka, during artillery shelling, crew No. 2307 was hit. Our colleagues — a paramedic and a medical technician — were injured,” the post reads.
The ambulance vehicle was also damaged.
“The crew was heading to a call to save lives… but came under fire themselves. Despite everything, the call was completed by another team. You are true heroes. We wish our colleagues a speedy recovery and thank everyone who continues to stand guard over life,” the Center added.
As reported, on August 19 in Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region, a Russian drone hit an ambulance responding to a call, wounding two medics with shrapnel.
