Russians attacked Sumy region 63 times in 24 hours, causing damage

Between the morning of September 9 and the morning of September 10, Russian troops carried out 63 strikes on 37 settlements in the Sumy region, damaging and destroying civilian infrastructure.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram.

The most intense shelling was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

The enemy struck settlements in the Sumy, Verkhniosyrovatsky, Krasnopilia, Mykolaiv rural, Myropilia, Khotin, Bilopilia, Yunakivka, Seredyno-Buda Druzhbivka Hlukhiv, Esman, Velykopysarivka, and Novoslobodka communities.

Russian troops carried out more than 10 strikes with guided aerial bombs and 10 strikes with drones.

The enemy also carried out missile strikes, attacked with FPV drones, dropped VOGs from UAVs, and fired artillery.

In the Myropilia community, a private house was destroyed and another private home was damaged.

In the Mykolaiv rural community, two private households were damaged; in the Bilopilia community, two private residential buildings and one passenger car were damaged.

In the Seredyno-Buda community, three private households were damaged; in the Sumy community, non-residential premises of a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged.

In the Esman and Verkhniosyrovatka communities, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.

Twelve people were evacuated from border communities during the day.

As reported by Ukrinform, more than 60 kilometers of logistics routes were closed with anti-drone nets in Sumy region.
