In Kherson, after Russian artillery strikes, only ruins remain where market once stood

In the center of Kherson, after night artillery strikes by the Russian Federation, part of the city market was left in ruins.

A video from the city market was posted on Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Alexander Prokudin, Ukrinform reports.

“The video shows the ruins in the center of Kherson. This is all that remains of part of the city market after nighttime artillery strikes by the Russians,” he wrote.

According to Prokudin, the fire destroyed retail outlets, which were the only source of income for many Kherson residents.

He noted that there were no casualties.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of September 8, Russian troops shelled the Dnipro district of Kherson with artillery, resulting in injuries to two local residents.
