MID attacks military unit in Russia whose soldiers committed war crimes in Kyiv region

On September 8, an explosion occurred near military unit 6912 in Khabarovsk, Russia, whose soldiers were directly involved in the aggression against Ukraine.

This was reported to Ukrinform by a source in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the agency's source, two explosive devices detonated in a parking lot near the military unit.

The explosions occurred around 9 a.m., just as Russian soldiers were arriving for duty. As a result of the explosions, there are dead and wounded among the personnel of the enemy army.

After the explosions in the area of the military unit, Russian special services blocked mobile web and changed public transport routes so that residents would not learn the truth about the emergency.

The 748th Separate Operational Battalion of the Russian Guard (military unit No. 6912) in Khabarovsk participated in full-scale aggression against Ukraine, according to documentary evidence and information from open sources. In particular, there were reports of the battalion's losses in battles near Kyiv (Bucha, Irpin) in early 2022.

As reported, the Russian army entered Bucha on February 27, 2022. In 33 days, the invaders committed more than 9,000 war crimes in the Bucha district and killed more than 1,400 civilians, including 37 children.
