Enemies shell Chernihiv region 60 times, causing damage
Over the past 24 hours, on September 5, Russian troops shelled the Chernihiv region 60 times, targeting 22 settlements.
This was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, according to Ukrinform.
“Over the past day (from 8 a.m. on September 5 to 8 a.m. on September 6, 2025), Russian terrorists shelled the Chernihiv region 60 times. According to consolidated data, 106 explosions were recorded. Twenty-two settlements in the Chernihiv region were shelled by the Russians,” the post says.
It is noted that in three villages of the Semenivka community, drones hit residential buildings. In the Koriukivka district, a power line was damaged.
The Russians carried out 31 attacks with FPV drones, striking the region with Lancet, Molniya, and Geran drones, as well as KAB missiles on the border community.
As reported by Ukrinform, on September 4, Russian troops targeted a humanitarian mission of the Danish Refugee Council, which was working in the Kyselivka community near Chernihiv. Two people were killed and eight were wounded.
