184 clashes on frontline in 24, Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka sectors most intense

Over the past 24 hours, 184 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the frontline.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported in a summary as of 8:00 a.m. on September 6 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy launched two missiles and 73 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using six missiles and 135 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the Russians carried out 4,932 shellings, 32 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 5,781 loitering munitions to strike.

The Russian army carried out air strikes on the areas of Novoandriivka and Chervona Krynytsia in the Zaporizhzhia region and Lvove in the Kherson region.

The aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces hit three artillery units, one radar station, five areas where personnel, weapons, and military equipment were concentrated, and one Russian command post.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight enemy attacks. The invaders carried out 14 air strikes, dropping 38 guided bombs, and carried out 223 artillery strikes, including five with multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, seven combat clashes took place in the Vovchansk area.

In the Kupiansk sector, 10 Russian attacks were recorded. Defense Forces repelled assaults in the areas of Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and Kolisnykivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 20 times, trying to advance near Karpivka, Andriivka, Druzheliubivka, Kolodiazi, Drobysheve, and toward Olhivka and Shandryholove.

In the Siversk sector, the Russian army attacked near Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, Dronivka, Fedorivka, Vyimka, and toward Dibrova. In total, there were 20 combat engagements during the day.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks near Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 13 attacks in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 48 attacks in the areas of Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Maiak, Rubizhne, Sukhyi Yar, Shevchenko, Promin, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, and toward Filiia and Novopavlivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 31 enemy attacks in the areas of Zelenyi Hai, Filiia, Piddubne, Oleksandrograd, Voskresenka, Temyrivka, Shevchenko, Maliivka, and Komyshuvakha.

In the Huliaipole sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Russian army attacked three times in the areas of Stepnohirsk and Novodanylivka.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy made three unsuccessful attempts to approach the fortifications of the Defense Forces.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups were detected.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to September 6, 2025, in the war against Ukraine amount to 1,087,180 soldiers, including 960 yesterday.
