The Ukrainian company TechEx has tested a new series of fiber-optic drones under the name Stalker, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"In order to launch mass production, proper documentation is critically important. [...] We had to finalize aspects that we previously considered insignificant. Initially, we were working on volunteer projects where only the drone itself was needed — no documentation was required, as long as it was cheap but functional," said Anton, the chief engineer at TechEx.

According to him, TechEx has managed to reduce the time required to prepare technical documentation from a month to just a few days.

At the same time, the company is upgrading its fiber-spooling equipment.

"We developed this technology ourselves and were among the first to do so. We were part of a special working group that began building this capability even before it became mainstream. We built the entire production process from scratch, including writing custom software," the engineer said.

As a result, TechEx has achieved a record-low coil weight among Ukrainian manufacturers. New, extended-length spools are currently undergoing testing.

Ukraine's Ministry of Defense recently unveiled TechEx's Stalker line of fiber-optic drones. These UAVs can track and strike enemy targets while remaining resilient against electronic warfare systems.
