One killed, eight injured in Kherson region amid Russian attacks

On May 31, one civilian was killed and eight others injured in the Kherson region as a result of continued Russian aggression, according to regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin.

He shared the update on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

Prokudin reported that Kherson city and 36 other settlements came under Russian drone terror, artillery fire, and airstrikes throughout the day.

The attacks targeted critical infrastructure, social facilities, and residential areas. At least five apartment buildings and seven private homes were damaged. Additionally, a gas pipeline, several outbuildings, and a civilian vehicle were destroyed or heavily damaged.

On May 30, three people were killed and ten injured in the Kherson region due to Russian shelling.
