Russian missile strikes hit critical industrial facility in Ternopil region

Russian missile strikes have targeted a critical industrial facility in the Ternopil region.

Viacheslav Nehoda, head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, reported the attack on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"As a result of the overnight enemy attack, missiles hit a critical industrial facility in the Ternopil region. There may be disruptions in the gas supply. Air defense forces managed to shoot down one enemy missile," the statement reads.

Nehoda added that there were no casualties and that emergency services were working to mitigate the consequences of the attack.

In the early hours of Friday, March 7, Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone assault on Ukraine.
