Debris from downed UAVs damages administrative, educational buildings in Mykolaiv region

On Sunday evening, January 28, damage was caused to an administrative building, an educational institution, and a private residential sector in the Mykolaiv region as a result of falling debris from enemy UAVs shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.

The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administrating said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

On the night of January 29, air defense forces in the Mykolaiv region destroyed four Shahed-136/131 UAVs.

On January 28, at 11:18, 23:31, the enemy launched artillery strikes and at 16:14 directed an FPV drone at three settlements of the Kutsurub community. No casualties were reported.

In addition, at 23:50, artillery shelling was recorded in the water area of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.

"On January 28, at 22:30, during the combat work of air defense units to repel a drone attack, an administrative building, an educational institution and a private residential sector were damaged as a result of falling debris from downed UAVs in the Arbuzynka community. No one was injured," the regional administration said.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all eight Russian UAVs in the Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Rivne regions on the night of January 29.
