Tavria sector: Enemy increases number of attacks to over 50 per day

Russian forces have increased the number of offensive and assault operations in the Tavria sector.

General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, "the invaders have significantly increased the number of offensive and assault operations - for the second day in a row the enemy is conducting 50 combat clashes every day."

Some 15 invaders surrendered in the past week. The enemy also carried out 100 air strikes in the Tavria sector in the past seven days. These were mainly guided bombs and most of them were dropped by the invaders in the Donetsk region.

On January 26, Russian troops launched two missile strikes, using the S-300 air defense system, against Myrnohrad and Novohrodivtka, and launched 714 artillery strikes.

In total, the enemy lost 385 soldiers and 21 pieces of military equipment, including six tanks, nine armored fighting vehicles, three cars and three pieces of special equipment.

Over the past day, Ukrainian forces neutralized or destroyed 230 UAVs of various types.
