Activists raise Ukrainian flag on mountain peak in Crimea

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, activists of the Yellow Ribbon movement raised the Ukrainian flag on the top of the mountain Pahkal-Kaya. Thus, they congratulated Ukrainians on the Day of Unity.

The Yellow Ribbon movement reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reported.

"We unfurled the flag on one of the peaks of the Crimean mountains, Pakhkal-Kaya, to show the unity of the Ukrainian people because Crimea is Ukraine!" the message says.

"Today, the symbol of Ukraine is flying over the top of Crimea, and very soon, we will work together to decorate the entire peninsula with blue and yellow flags. Happy Unity Day, Ukraine!" - the activists emphasized.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that in the center of Lviv, on the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine and the 105th anniversary of the Act of the UPR and ZUNR, a national record was set by unfurling a 20-meter flag with signatures of military and schoolchildren from all over Ukraine and on the front line.
