Special services confirm attack on Tula factory that manufactures Pantsir systems

Russia’s Shcheglovsky Val defense enterprise in Tula, which manufactures Pantsir anti-aircraft missile systems, was attacked on the night of January 21.

A source in the special services confirmed that to Ukrinform

"Such actions are planned intelligence work, since Shcheglovsky Val is an enterprise of Russia’s military-industrial complex that assembles Pantsir-S and Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile defense systems," the source said.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russia reported a drone attack on the Tula, Smolensk and Orel regions. Russian social networks reported explosions in Tula. Later, Russian TV channels reported attacks and shootdown of allegedly Ukrainian drones in three regions of the Russian Federation.
