At least six blasts rock Khmelnytskyi region amid air raid alert

In Ukraine’s Khmelnytskyi region, at least six explosions were recorded during a Russian missile strike. Emergency and rescue services have scrambled to the scenes.

The Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"Today, Khmelnytskyi region woke up to Ruscists’ strikes. At least six explosions rang out across the region. Emergency and rescue services are working at the sites of the strikes," the report says.

The administration urged residents to refrain from photographing or filming the aftermath of the attack while emergency teams are working at the scenes.

Officials added that the updates would follow.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the morning of Monday, January 8, air defense systems were activated across Khmelnytskyi region.
