Prosecutors say Nova Poshta postal terminal near Kharkiv hit by two S-300 missiles
As a result of the Russian strike involving two S-300 surface-to-air missiles that targeted the Nova Poshta postal terminal near Kharkiv, six people were killed and 16 were injured.
This was reported on Facebook by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Ukrinform saw.
"Six people killed and 16 wounded: prosecutors have documented the consequences of a missile attack on an enterprise outside Kharkiv. All casualties are among employees," the statement said.
It is noted that under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office in Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Article 438 Part 2 of the Criminal Code) has been initiated.
"According to the inquiry, on October 21, at about 22:15, the enemy launched a missile strike on the terminal run by the Nova Poshta postal service in the village of Korotych, Kharkiv district,” prosecutors stated.
The strike caused a fire, almost completely obliterated the terminal, and damaged a number of trucks.
