Three districts in Kharkiv region subjected to Russian strikes in past day

The Russian invasion army shelled three districts across Kharkiv region on Friday.

That’s according to Oleh Syniehubov, the chief of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, who broke the news on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

The affected areas include settlements in the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk districts.

Syniehubov noted that at around 23:15 on Friday, the Russians fired on the village of Lyptsi in the Kharkiv, using anti-aircraft missiles. According to tentative reports, the strike brought no casualties.

As a result of the shelling targeting the village of Kucherivka in the Kupiansk district, two households and a farm sustained damage and a local man, 39, was hospitalized with injuries.

In addition, the settlements of Vovchansk, Ohirtseve, and Hatyshche in the Chuhuiv district, Dvorichna, Synkivka, Ivanivka, and Kislivka in the Kupiansk district, and a number of other populaces also came under Russian fire.

The regional chief noted that State Emergency Service bomb squads inspected over 12 hectares of territory, neutralizing 90 explosive objects.

As reported earlier, heavy fighting is raging on the front line as the Ukrainian military repelled 20 enemy assaults in the areas of Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kupiansk direction. The enemy achieved no gains, suffering losses, the administration chief stressed.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, over the past day, the Russians launched nine missile strikes, 39 airstrikes, and 50 attacks involving multiple launch rocket systems.
