Invaders hit Kherson region 61 times in past day. One civilian killed, four injured

The Russian army launched 61 strikes on Kherson region over the past day.

"Over the past day, the enemy launched 61 strikes, firing 275 shells from mortars, artillery, tanks, Grad MLRS, UAVs, and aircraft. The enemy fired 18 shells at the city of Kherson," Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

According to Prokudin, the Russian military hit residential neighborhoods of settlements, territories and buildings of preschool educational institutions in Kherson city and Beryslav district.

"Due to Russian aggression, one person was killed and four more were injured," the governor added.

As reported, on the morning of August 28, the Russians shelled the village of Sadove, Kherson region. A 63-year-old woman died on the spot, and a 58-year-old man was hospitalized with injuries.
