Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to about 260,820

Russia has already lost about 260,820 troops in Ukraine (+550 over the past day).

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Between February 24, 2022 and August 27, 2023, the enemy’s total combat losses included also 4,396 tanks (+6 over the past day), 8,554 armored fighting vehicles (+15), 5,403 artillery systems (+24), 728 multiple launch rocket systems (+2), 498 anti-aircraft warfare systems (+1), 315 aircraft, 316 helicopters, 7,854 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+31), 18 warships/boats, 4,378 unmanned aerial vehicles (+11), 808 special equipment units (+4). A total of 1,411 enemy cruise missiles were shot down.

A reminder that more than 40 combat engagements have occurred between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian occupiers in the past 24 hours.
