Russian army shells Kherson region 99 times in past day, injuring seven civilians

Russian invaders shelled Kherson region 99 times in the past 24 hours, injuring seven civilians.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram.

According to him, Russians fired 497 shells from mortars, artillery, tanks, Grad MLRS, drones, and aircraft at the region in the past day. In particular, 32 enemy shells were fired at Kherson city.

The Russian military targeted residential areas in the region's settlements, the territory and building of a kindergarten, the territory of a factory and an enterprise in Kherson, as well as an administrative building and a store in Beryslav district.

As Ukrinform reported, on August 22, the Russian army attacked Kherson region 72 times, killing a civilian.
