Russians drop explosives from drone in Beryslav - two civilians injured

On August 18, the Russian military dropped explosives from a drone in Beryslav, in the Kherson region, injuring two residents.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this, according to Ukrinform.

"At about 2:00 p.m., the invaders dropped explosives from a drone near a private house in Beryslav," the statement said.

As noted, two residents who were on the street were injured in the legs. The men were taken to the hospital for medical care.

Also, the regional prosecutor's office confirmed that on August 18, at about 11:00 a.m., Russian troops shelled the village of Virivka in the Tyahynka community of the Kherson region. Preliminary, the settlement was attacked with Grad rocket launchers. A minor girl was injured.

Under the procedural supervision of the Beryslav District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported, a 17-year-old girl was injured as a result of the Russian shelling of the village of Virivka in the Tyahynka community, she was hospitalized in moderate condition with a mine-blast injury and a leg injury.
