Russians strike village near Zaporizhzhia at night: gymnasium, houses destroyed

Buildings of the "Dzherelo" gymnasium were destroyed and private houses were damaged as a result of the attack on Komyshuvakha near Zaporizhzhia city.

"On the night of August 18, the enemy struck Komyshuvakha. The ‘Dzherelo’ gymnasium came under attack again, this time the 1st-4th grade department," the Komyshuvakha Village Council posted on Telegram.

Like the main building, the junior department was renovated on the eve of the Russian invasion, equipped with new furniture and everything necessary for the quality education of children. The plans included the construction of a multimedia sports ground.

In addition, more than 10 private houses were damaged.

People were not injured.

As reported, the enemy struck 20 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region over the past day. In particular, six airstrikes were launched on Komyshuvakha, Orikhiv, and Mala Tokmachka.
