Overnight, Russians shell five districts of Kharkiv region

Yesterday, on August 6, Russian troops attacked settlements in five districts of the Kharkiv region, damaging private houses, farms, and outbuildings.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to him, settlements in the Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izyum and Kupyansk districts were subjected to massive attacks with artillery, mortars and other enemy weapons.

According to Syniehubov, a 31-year-old man was injured in the shelling of Kupyansk, and a 61-year-old woman and her 65-year-old husband were injured in Putnykove village.

According to the head of the RMA, a woman of 57 years old died as a result of a guided aerial missile strike on Podoly in the Kupyansk district. A 66-year-old man was hospitalized with a serious injury.

In the Kupyansk district, a guided aerial bomb hit Petropavlivka caused damage to a farm building, and private households were damaged in Kucherivka.

As a result of shelling in Cherneshchyna, in the Izyum district, a farm building was damaged.

According to Syniehubov, yesterday in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled an attempt by Russians to go on the offensive to the east of Petropavlivka. The invaders retreated with losses.

As reported, on August 5 in the evening, Russians dropped an adjusted aerial bomb on a blood transfusion center in the Kupyansk community in the Kharkiv region, killing and injuring people.
