Russian army shells Novooosynove in Kharkiv region yesterday, injuring five

On Thursday evening, July 27, Russian troops fired on Novoozynove in the Kharkiv region, damaging two residential buildings.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to him, yesterday evening around 9:15 p.m. the enemy shelled Novooosynove village in the Kupyansk district. Two residential buildings were damaged. Five people were injured. A 61-year-old woman was hospitalized with shrapnel injuries. Two men aged 84 and 75 and two women aged 65 and 72 sustained minor injuries, were treated on the spot and did not need hospitalization.

According to the head of the RMA, over the past day, the enemy fired at settlements in the Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Izyum and Kupyansk districts with artillery, mortars and other weapons.

In particular, Huriv Kozachok, Udy, Bochkove, Mala Vovcha, Budarky, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zakhidne and other localities were under fire.

Forest fires broke out in the villages of Petropavlivka and Podoly in the Kupyansk district and Novoplatonivka in the Izium district due to hostile shelling.

According to Syniehubov, a grain warehouse in the village of Shyikivka, in the Izyum district, was damaged by enemy shelling.

According to the head of the RMA, demining operations are ongoing in the Kharkiv region. During the day, the SES pyrotechnics inspected more than eight hectares of territory and defused 99 explosive devices.

As reported, at night on July 26, Russians struck the village of Kivsharivka, in the Kupyansk district, with a KAB-250 guided missile, killing a woman and injuring four others.
