Number of injured in attack on Pervomayskyi rises to 31

The number of injured in attack on Pervomayskyi town in Kharkiv region has risen to 31. According to preliminary investigation data, the Russians fired an Iskander missile.

"According to the investigation data, around 13:30 on July 4, the Russian military launched a missile attack on a residential neighborhood in the town of Pervomayskyi. According to preliminary data, an Iskander missile [was launched]. A Russian munition hit the area near an apartment block. Currently, 31 people are known to be injured, including 10 children. The data are being specified," the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office posted on Telegram.

"As of 15:00, it is known about a significant number of victims: 31 people were hospitalized (nine of them are children, two babies – aged one year and 10 months). Apartment blocks and cars were damaged," Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak posted on Telegram.

According to the Pervomayskyi Town Council, there is serious damage to the housing stock. Hot meals and overnight stays in kindergartens are organized for residents whose homes were damaged.

Currently, the town has begun to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
