Ukrainian general says over 400 Russian soldiers killed on Tavria axis in past day

In the Tavria direction, daily losses of Russian troops in terms of soldiers killed and wounded in action amount to more than 400.

That’s according to General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Commander of the Tavria Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the last day, we saw 36 combat clashes and 578 strikes. Our rocket and artillery units in the Tavria direction completed 1,481 fire missions," he noted.

According to the commander, Ukrainian defenders destroyed or damaged 53 units of Russian military hardware, including 12 tanks, six infantry fighting vehicles and the same number of armored fighting vehicles, three MTLBs, an armored personnel carrier, a 2A65 Msta-B howitzer, two Zala drones, and a number of military trucks.

Three enemy ammunition depots were also destroyed in the Tavria direction.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian invaders are focusing their main efforts on four operational axes. More than 30 combat clashes took place there over the past day.
