Trudeau: Latest attack on Kryvyi Rih a reminder of need to support Ukraine

Russia's missile attack on Kryvyi Rih once again reminded the whole world of the need to continue supporting Ukraine's defense capabilities.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said this on his Twitter account, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Canada strongly condemns Russia's attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine. The latest attack, on residential buildings in Kryvyi Rih, is absolutely unacceptable. It's another reminder of the Russian regime's horrific brutality – and of the need to continue standing with Ukraine," Trudeau said.

He recalled that this past weekend, he visited Kyiv "to reaffirm Canada's commitment to the Ukrainian people, and to make sure they know that we'll continue to be here for them." "As I have told President Zelensky, our support is unwavering," Trudeau said.

Russia's missile attack on Kryvyi Rih on June 13 killed 11 people, including a 17-year-old boy, and injured 36 others.
