One person injured as invaders shell Avdiivka with missiles

The Russian army fired missiles at Avdiivka, Donetsk region, injuring a city resident.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according Ukrinform.

"In the Donetsk direction, Kurakhivka territorial community came under fire three times. In the morning, the enemy fired four missile at Avdiivka — one person was injured," the official said.

According to him, in the past 24 hours, the Russian invaders launched an airstrike on Neskuchne district of Velyka Novosilka territorial community in Volnovakha area, damaging houses on four streets.

In the Horlivka direction, one person was injured, three houses, two administrative buildings and one infrastructure object were damaged in Toretsk. Three houses were damaged in Chasiv Yar territorial community. In the evening, the enemy shelled the outskirts of Kostiantynivka.

Kyrylenko added that Russian strikes damaged three houses in Zvanivka in the Lysychansk direction, and nine strikes were recorded in Lyman territorial community.

In addition, in the evening, the Russians fired 152mm artillery at the town of Ukrainsk, Selydove territorial community, killing three people and wounding five more.

"Among those killed is a 4-year-old boy; among those injured - three children, a 4-year-old boy and a girl and a 13-year-old girl," Kyrylenko said.
