Air defense forces down all 35 cruise missiles launched by Russia
On June 6, from 00:30 to 04:00, the invaders attacked Ukraine with Kh-101/Kh-555 air-based cruise missiles. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted all 35 missiles launched by Russia.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
According to the military, the Russians attacked again from the Caspian Sea area with six Tu-95ms strategic bombers. The air defense forces and means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed all 35 cruise missiles.
Most of the X-101/X-555s were moving towards the capital - the area of responsibility of the Air Command Center.
As reported, air defense forces destroyed more than 20 aerial targets around Ukraine’s capital overnight.
