Children need to be evacuated from more than ten settlements in Donetsk region, evacuation is also underway in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions.

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk said this at a briefing as part of the conference "UA: War. Unsung Lullaby," an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We have an understanding of approximately how many children need to be taken out of the war zone. Tomorrow we will hold another Coordination Headquarters meeting at the request of Donetsk region, where there are more than ten settlements from which children need to be taken out," said the government official.

According to her, the process of evacuating children is underway in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions.

"We are currently organizing evacuation trains, determining the places where we will take the children, and we will deal with this in the near future," the Deputy Prime Minister said.
