Zelensky holds Supreme CinC Staff meeting in Odesa

President Volodymyr Zelensky chaired a field meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief in Odesa on Wednesday.

The head of the Ukrainian state announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Staff’s field meeting," Zelenskyi wrote.

He added that during the meeting, the commander of the Odesa Operational-Strategic Group of Troops, Eduard Moskaliov, briefed the participants on the operational developments in his area of responsibility.

Commander of the Naval Forces, Oleksiy Neizhpapa, reported on the protection of coastal infrastructure, the functioning of the grain corridor, and other important issues.

"Reports from the General Staff and Ministry of Defense. Reports by commanders. Our forces succeeded in stabilizing the situation in Khortytsia, General Sirskyi reported," president added.

In addition, Zelensky wrote: "The reports from (defense intelligence chief Kyrylo - ed.) Budanov and Security Service chief Vasyl - ed.) Malyuk regarding measures within their competence were important. No further details on these."

As Ukrinform reported earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky is on a working visit to Odesa region on May 31.
