Three districts of Kharkiv region come under enemy shelling in past day, civilian injured

The Russian forces shelled settlements in three districts of Kharkiv on May 30.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.  

"No strikes on the city of Kharkiv have been recorded in the past day. The enemy continued to shell the civilian infrastructure and the civilian population of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts of the region," he said.

According to Syniehubov, buildings were damaged and fires broke out as a result of shelling of Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district. A 72-year-old man was injured.

In addition, the Russians struck the village of Kivsharivka, Kupiansk district, with two guided aerial bombs. Windows in the building of an educational institution were broken. No large-scale destruction or casualties have been recorded.

The regional governor also added that a private household was damaged in the village of Bezruky, Kharkiv district.

An apartment was damaged in Russia’s shelling of Novoosynove village, Kupiansk district.

According to Syniehubov, demining works are ongoing in the region. Experts of the State Emergency Service neutralized 92 explosives in the past day.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army launched 64 air attacks, 1 missile strike, and carried out 88 MLRS attacks over the past day.
