General Staff confirms destruction of oil refinery in Volgograd
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of an oil refinery in Volgograd, Russia.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
On the night of February 11, the Volgograd Refinery (Volgograd, Russian Federation), which supplies the Russian army, was hit. A fire was reported on the premises. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
In addition, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, in the Lobanove area, a fuel and lubricants warehouse was hit.
In the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, in the Balochky area, the Defense Forces struck an enemy logistics warehouse.
In the Liubymivka area, an ammunition depot belonging to the Russian invaders was hit.
In the Huliaipole area, the Defense Forces struck a concentration of manpower from the Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies "Rubicon".
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, in the Tretiaky area, an Osa anti-aircraft missile system was hit.
In the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, near Voskresenske, a Russian Tor anti-aircraft missile system was hit.
The losses of the invaders and the extent of the damage caused are being clarified.
As reported by Ukrinform, a group of drones again attacked the Lukoil oil refinery in Volgograd.
During the night, air defense units of the Russian Ministry of Defense repelled an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on energy and civilian infrastructure facilities, said Andrey Bocharov, governor of the Volgograd region.
The Lukoil-Volgograd Refinery plant in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd was targeted.
It is the largest oil refinery in the Volgograd region and one of Lukoil's key assets.
The plant specializes in deep oil refining and the production of gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, and other petroleum products.
This refinery has been attacked by drones several times before.
