Twenty-six houses damaged in Zhytomyr as a result of drone attack last night

As a result of the Russian drone attack on May 28, at least 26 houses, as well as educational and healthcare facilities, were damaged in Zhytomyr city.

"After today's air raid, there is damage in the city. These are mostly common areas of apartment blocks. The glass was broken at the stairwells," the press service of the Zhytomyr City Council posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Educational and healthcare institutions with damaged doors and windows work as usual.

As reported, damage was recorded in Zhytomyr as a result of the enemy attack last night. No casualties were reported.

The Air Force command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Russian troops attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 combat drones from the northern direction – Bryansk region – and the southern – Krasnodar Territory – last night. In total, 54 kamikaze drones were launched. The Ukrainian troops destroyed 52 drones.
