Russians shell Kurakhove with artillery, Uragan MLRS in Donetsk region

In the Donetsk region, Russian invaders shelled the town of Kurakhove with artillery and Uragan MLRS, hitting several enterprises.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In the Donetsk sector, Russians fired on Kurakhove with artillery and Uragan systems, hitting several enterprises," the head of the region wrote.

He noted that in the Horlivka direction, one person died and four houses were damaged in Chasovoyarska community as a result of hostile shelling. One person was injured in Kostyantynivka and two houses were damaged.

According to Kyrylenko, one person was injured in the village of New York in the Toretsk community, and six houses and an infrastructure facility were damaged.

In the Lysychansk direction, two houses in Zvanivka were destroyed, six more houses and a school were damaged. Shelling of Torske and Zarichne in the Lyman community was recorded, the head of the Military Administration stated.

In turn, the regional police reported that Russian troops shelled 12 settlements in the Donetsk region over the past day, damaging 26 civilian objects. There were killed and injured, including a child.

It is noted that the invaders attacked the towns of Avdiivka, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Chasiv Yar, Velyka Novosilka, New York, Pivnichne, the villages of Karlivka, Mykolaivka, Novoselivka Persha, Sokil, Stupochki. The Russian army attacked residential areas with aircraft, missile systems, Grad and Uragan MLRS, artillery, and tanks.

As a result, 26 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged: 14 residential buildings, a church, a warehouse, a depot and locomotives, power lines, civilian cars, and a government vehicle.

They reminded that on 24 May, with the help of the police, another 409 people were evacuated from the Donetsk region, and since the beginning of the mandatory evacuation, 74,654 people have been evacuated, including 8,648 children and 3,284 people with disabilities.

As reported earlier, on 24 May, Russian troops killed one civilian and injured six civilians in the Donetsk region.
