Two killed, two injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk region

Two civilians have been killed and two more injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On May 19, 2023, Russians killed two civilians in the Donetsk region, namely in Chasiv Yar. Two more people were injured,” Kyrylenko wrote.

Additionally, it is now impossible to count the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, Kyrylenko noted.

A reminder that, on May 19, 2023, Russian troops launched six missiles strikes and 62 air strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 65 times.
