Shelling in Kherson region kills one, wounds 11 over day
In the Kherson region, one person was killed and 11 others were wounded during the day as a result of Russian shelling; law enforcement authorities have already launched pre-trial investigations.
According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, pre-trial investigations have been launched into the commission of war crimes,” the statement reads.
According to the investigation, on April 14, the Russian army carried out shelling in the Kherson region using artillery and drones.
As of 5:30 p.m., it was reported that one person had died and 11 others had been injured as a result of the Russian aggression.
In particular, as noted, in Kherson, the occupiers used an FPV drone on one of the streets—a woman was killed, and a man was injured. Another man was wounded under similar circumstances in the morning.
Overnight, two women were injured by Russian artillery fire in Komyshany.
During the day, Russian forces used UAVs for attacks. One of them was directed at a hospital in the regional center, resulting in injuries to four hospital staff members. Others struck houses in Nadiivka and Bilozertsi, injuring two residents of these settlements.
A woman in Velykooleksandrivka also sustained moderate injuries after being struck by debris from a strike drone.
In addition, damage was caused to private and apartment buildings, administrative buildings, hospitals, educational institutions, a store, utility buildings, garages, and vehicles.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the village of Velyka Oleksandrivka in the Kherson region, a 67-year-old woman was injured as a result of the detonation of a downed Russian “Shahed” UAV; her condition is assessed as moderate.
