The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its morning report posted to Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions - 55 combat engagements were recorded in the past day. Bakhmut and Marinka remain at the epicenter of hostilities," the report said.

Damaged was done to civilian infrastructure. Russian shelling of the settlements of Dvorichna, Vovchansk and Tyshchenkivka in the Kharkiv region killed and wounded civilians. Residential private houses, a hospital and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed.

The probability of further missile strikes and airstrikes on targets across Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to cynically use kindergartens in temporarily captured settlements for their own purposes. For instance, the Russian occupiers use the building of a kindergarten in the village of Yurivka, Zaporizhzhia region, to accommodate personnel. At the same time, the kindergarten is home to civilians who were evacuated from settlements close to the contact line.

Over the past day, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out 14 strikes on areas where enemy personnel and military hardware were located, as well as four strikes on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems. Yesterday, Ukrainian defenders destroyed ten attack drones and six reconnaissance UAVs.

Over the course of the day, Ukraine's rocket and artillery units hit six Russian troop concentration areas, three electronic warfare stations, four ammunition depots and a fuel depot.
